In our artwork, we explore the hidden truths behind the avocado, often celebrated as a superfood. While it boasts numerous health benefits, its production comes at a significant environmental cost and involves labor exploitation. By intentionally decaying avocados and coating them in resin, we aim to confront the viewer with this duality—highlighting the darker side of a beloved fruit. This piece serves as a reminder to question the narratives we accept and to consider the true impact of our food choices on both the planet and the people who produce them.
