Coral reefs are the heartbeat of our oceans, providing vital habitats for marine life and maintaining the health of ocean ecosystems. In this artwork, I illustrate the cooperative approaches necessary for long-term coral reef restoration amid climate change. The piece is divided into four interrelated sections: Traditional Activity Management, Biobanking, Hand Outplanting, and Research & Developmentāeach contributing to a resilient reef ecosystem.
By depicting pollution prevention, sustainable fishing, and innovative coral preservation methods, I aim to emphasize the importance of collective effort. A flourishing reef at the center symbolizes the harmonious outcome of these endeavors. This work reflects my belief that collaboration and sustainability can preserve and revitalize our oceans for future generations.
