We are confronted with numerous global problems that grip our daily lives. Think of war, mass immigration, oppression, overpopulation, and worldwide pandemics that strike across the globe. Are we capable of restoring this balance, or are we inevitably heading towards a future that increasingly slips into a “dystopia”? So far, dystopias have been stories confined to the realm of books and films. Have we been overtaken by our own fictional dystopian creations? In this project, I decided to create my own dystopian vision of the future, to pose the question: where are we actually headed with this world?
